2020, It is what it is . . .
Oh well! How to start this blog entry but with a phrase I use most of the time while working on ships: “It is what it is”, a phrase that not everyone likes but for me it makes things easier and less frustrating.
2020 is the year in which the World literally stopped, something that I don’t think it has ever happened. People were forced to spend more time at home, and create a more solid ground with their families or realized that that is not the life they wanted at all.
Fear spread and it still is, and people are learning to ignore it, or living with it. Conspiracy theories have always existed but 2020 is definitely the year for conspirators. Everyone has become an expert on medicine, politics, Illuminati, the New World Order, etcetera. Just craziness.
This has been the year of planning and then discovering that plans don’t really matter, as everything changes day by day.
The survival year, the year of challenges, the year of realizing what you are made of. Are you weak? Are you strong? Do you let yourself be affected by media? A year of really showing what you got.
2020 is the year of meditating, healing, growing or even breaking down to come out stronger, New Beginnings.
A year to challenge yourself, could be growth, or could be just waiting, breathing, learning to know yourself, love yourself. It is the year where the world stopped!
Do we raise or do we fall? Do we survive? Searching for what it’s missing, trying to find “normality”, the world is forcing us to challenge ourselves.
So, it is what it is, I don’t mean “Fu** it” but it is what it is, so are you going to stay there or do something about it.
Find yourself, find your happy! Survive!

Well say my dear Ceci, it have been a crazy year where mind set and hopes for better days are going with the morning coffe on daily bases.
I can only say a great way to expose your thoughts and agrees with you. Or you re invente your self or you stay down on bed with frustration blaming everything and everybody. Time to be strong, take care of our family members and realized that every time you say ciao to your dad your mom could be the last time you see him or her healthy, tell them all what you feel about them and spend time with people that you actually care about. Same goes with your couple with your kids with every one… take a time to stop and give value to the small thinks on life that are the ones who provide happiness.
We have learn that is not about the last car, last cloth or anything material that can be replaced, it is about that that you can’t replaced your family your friend.
I honestly hope to wake up one day in a world that people treate each other with respect not related the position they have, in world that people take care about other people and stop this selfish way of thinking… but is only a hope that I will carry with me by doing it my self.
